Secret Hideout

Looks like a phone shop. It isn’t. Below the freeway in South Los Santos: a repair shop and a hacker’s workshop, and a hidden hatch down to a basement with five setups.

  • One-time payment on Tebex.
  • Owner: lands in your Cfx.re Portal once Tebex confirms the payment.
  • Owner only runs on servers whose key belongs to the Cfx.re account that buys it.
  • Left open: config.lua, locales, server/permissions.lua, shared/ambience.lua and the two game files it replaces.

Walk through it

From the alley door down to the basement, room by room. On the upper level, a shop that looks legit. On the lower one, the part you don’t show.

Upper level · Mobile Express

  1. 01Entrance hallAn old steel door from the alley, a stairway down and a red emergency light.
  2. 02ShopCounter behind glass, a demo wall of cameras, alarms, keypads and fingerprint readers, three display cases, an arcade cabinet and a chill corner.
  3. 03RestroomWith a mirror that really reflects.
  4. 04WorkshopA long bench with laptops, oscilloscopes, 3D printers and soldering gear, racks, a card-cloning corner and a heist whiteboard.
  5. 05StoreroomStock in a wire cage and a safe.
  6. 06Technical roomElectrical cabinets, a generator and the hatch. The lever is hidden on the side of the big electrical cabinet.

Lower level

  1. B1Shaft roomA 3.5 m ladder down from the hatch, phone lockers (“LEAVE YOUR PHONE HERE”), a fingerprint reader, a keypad, a camera and the lower lever.
  2. B2Middle roomL-shaped, with a wire cage and a grille. Behind the grille, a camera room.
  3. B3HallWhatever the setup puts in it.

The setup you pick dresses this level; the upper one stays the same. In empty, it’s bare concrete.

The hatch

The way down is in the technical room, where nobody looks.

  1. Pull the leverIt’s hidden on the side of the big electrical cabinet. The character pulls it with an animation other players see.
  2. Climb downThe hatch opens onto a 3.5 m ladder down to the shaft room. A second lever at the bottom works it from below.
  3. It closes itselfAfter 45 seconds by default, or never if Config.AutoCloseSeconds is 0. It won’t close while someone is in the shaft.
Everyone sees the same hatch

The server owns the hatch state, so every player sees it open or closed at the same time. With OneSync, the server also refuses pulls from more than 2 m away and keeps the hatch open while someone is in the shaft. Without OneSync it still runs, warns on start and skips those two checks.

Five setups

Pick what’s on the lower level. It’s dressing: no drug or hacking gameplay comes with it.

Blackhat setup, the hall: server racks on the left, the NULLBYTE video wall under the LED clock, and desks with monitors and a pinboard, with the crew at work.
BlackhatDefaultThe NULLBYTE crew’s operations room: a 4×2 video wall, a four-zone LED clock, a map table of Los Santos, racks and desks. The middle room is a device lab with cash machines, one of them stripped, and the cage is a fake-documents print room.
Meth setup, the hall: three cooks in protective gear among trays, chemical cans, a glovebox and an industrial stove.
MethA cook lab: trays and chemicals on the benches, a glovebox and an industrial stove.
Coke setup, the hall: folding tables with scales, powdered milk and toy boxes, and a worker in a hairnet and mask.
CokeA cut-and-pack room: tables with scales, powdered milk and toy boxes.
Weed setup, the hall: rows of potted plants under grow lamps, fertilizer buckets, a ladder and a big fan, and a grower with a spray bottle.
WeedA grow room: plants under grow lamps, fertilizer buckets and a big fan.
Empty setup, the hall: bare concrete walls and floor, strip lights, and a pipe and a duct along the ceiling.
EmptyBare concrete with the doors, ladder, hatch, levers, cage and grille, ducts and strip lights, lit white. For owners who furnish it themselves.

Ambient crew

Each furnished setup has six people on the lower level: in the hall, the middle room and the camera room, and a guard in the shaft room, working with Rockstar’s own business animations. On the upper level, a shopkeeper behind the counter and someone at the workshop computer. They’re local to each player, can’t be hurt and don’t react. Config.Ambience turns each group on or off; empty has nobody downstairs.

Switch setups

Set the one it starts with in server.cfg; without that line, Config.Variant in config.lua decides (blackhat by default). Change it live from the console or from another resource: players near the MLO reload the interior on the spot, with no restart and nobody reconnecting. A live change lasts until the resource restarts.

Questions

Which game build do I need?

3717 or newer. Set sv_enforceGameBuild 3717, or a newer build, in your server.cfg.

Do I need a framework?

No, it’s standalone. Who can pull the levers is up to canUse(source, lever) in server/permissions.lua. That file is open in both editions and has commented examples for an ace, an ESX job, a QBCore job and an ox_inventory item. Anyone refused sees “The lever won’t move.”

Do other players see the hatch open?

Yes. The server owns the hatch state, so everyone sees the same thing. With OneSync it also refuses pulls from more than 2 m away and won’t close the hatch while someone is in the shaft. Without OneSync it runs, warns on start and skips those two checks.

Do I need to restart to switch setups?

No. The smlo_variant command and the setVariant export switch it live: players near the MLO reload the interior on the spot and nobody reconnects. A live change lasts until the resource restarts; to keep one, set smlo_variant in server.cfg or Config.Variant in config.lua.

Do the setups come with drug or hacking gameplay?

No. They’re dressing. The scripted parts are the hatch and its two levers, switching setups and the ambient crew.

Does it clash with other map resources?

It ships the game’s own sc1_00b_bld2.ydr and lr_sc1_00b_0.ybn with the basement door cut out. If another resource also replaces those files, only one of them loads. Both are left unencrypted so you can swap them.

Do the doors lock?

No. The interior doors are GTA V doors that open by pushing; there’s no lock system.

Which edition do I need?

Owner to run it: it’s escrowed, with config.lua, locales, server/permissions.lua, shared/ambience.lua and the two game files left open. Developer if you want to change the MLO itself: the whole resource unencrypted, MLO files and Lua, limited to 5 copies. Neither includes the Blender project files.

Can I run Owner on more than one server?

Owner (Escrow) runs on the servers whose key was created with the Cfx.re account that bought it.

Turn it into a heist

The minigames fit what’s already in the MLO. Start them from your own heist script: the MLO doesn’t call them by itself.
